Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) is a student exchange partner with BSU! Applications are competitive with limited number of exchange spots per semester.

Open to all BSU majors; 2.75 minimum GPA; 24 credits completed.

BSU students enroll as visiting exchange students at SHNU for one semester or an academic year. Students take an equivalent of 12 credits (minimum) per semester to maintain full-time status and course offerings vary depending on department availability. Students work with BSU’s Study Abroad Office and the SHNU International Office to determine course availability.

Students earn BSU transfer credit for their courses at SHNU. Students are required to complete BSU transfer credit forms prior to departure.

Students reside in SHNU international student housing.
