Kansai University offers two different summer program options: Summer School and Intensive Japanese Language & Culture Course. Each option has different application deadlines. Please see Kansai's website for more detailed information.

The Summer School at Kansai University offers two and four-week programs with classes offered in English. Students may also enroll in an optional introductory Japanese language course called "Survival Japanese."

The Intensive Japanese Language & Culture course is approximately three weeks long and is taught in Japanese. This course includes interaction with Japanese students, cultural experiences (such as a tea ceremony), and field trips to a major city in the west Japan area.

Students work with BSU’s Study Abroad Office and the Kansai International Office to determine course availability. Students earn BSU transfer credit for their courses at Kansai. Students are required to complete BSU transfer credit forms prior to departure.
