Course Description:
This course provides an opportunity for students to participate in an interdisciplinary field school in Port of Spain, Trinidad at the Fondes Amandes Community Reforestation Project (FACRP). Designed as an experiential community-based learning experience, students will gain skills pertaining to research in a new cultural setting and participate actively in community
events. Students will develop a field work tool kit including standard qualitative research skills and applied knowledge specific to the cultural environment.
